New Afterlife Parade EP Out TODAY // Featured Artist of the Week on Lightning 100
For the past ... two years or so? ... I've been lucky enough to be a part of a band called Afterlife Parade. Their lead singer and dear friend of mine, Quinn Erwin, asked me to come aboard as a backup vocalist, and somehow over the next year, managed to finagle me into being a featured vocalist, playing keys, tambourine, and even on occasion the iPad for the band. I didn't put up much of a fuss about it, so, here I am, a band member. And we have some exciting news to share.
Today, our three-song EP "A Million Miles Away" went live on iTunes. One of the best things about being a part of this band is that it's so very different from the music that I'm putting out right now as a solo artist. It's got some really interesting, dark, electronic sounds that really play with your ears, and I love it. The subjects we write about are deep and intensely meaningful, but also uplifting, encouraging, and will hopefully spread the positive message that we'd like to share through Afterlife Parade with the world. I hope you'll give it a listen, and rate and review it to let us know what you think.
Another bit of exciting news for Nashville residents, especially; This week, we're Lightning 100's Local Artist of the Week on the 615 show! That means that L100 (Nashville's Independent music station and great supporters of the local scene here in town) are spinning our single all week, and on Friday, we'll be playing a set LIVE and ON THE AIR from The Pour House at 6:45. We're certainly excited about it, and sure would like to see you. For details about the show on Friday, click here, and to listen to the 615 show online, click here.
