Recipe 02 // Spiked Apple Cider
Since we're coming up on Thanksgiving and the Holiday Season, what better time to whip out some of my favorite seasonal recipes? Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing some serrrrriously yummy recipes that'll be perfect for your Holiday table -- cookies, cocktails, appetizers, shared plates... Y'all, I'm whippin' out the big guns.
All of these recipes are from my recipe book, Kith + Kin (softcover, pdf). I collected a bunch of recipes from my friends and family, dating back 3 generations, and added some of my own favorites to cook at home. It's a very personal collection of the foods that I've grown up with and the stories of how they came to be. I love having it around, and it's got a TON of things that are just perfect for this time of year. So, I thought I'd share a few with you!
This one... This is a national treasure, this recipe. My spiked cider is famous. It makes highly-anticipated appearances not only at holiday dinners, but at bonfires, Superbowl games, and housewarming parties. It's the perfect "everybody gather around this source of warmth and laugh" drink. (Pro tip: you can ALSO serve it ICED.) Enjoy!
